Proper sanitation is critical to protect against a multitude of diseases, raise overall health standards and restore human dignity in these communities. OSDI is committed to improving access to water and sanitation facilities through the renovation or construction the communal lavatory services, sewage lines and drainage pipes in the rural areas.
Sewage and Lavatory Project: Under this program, a sewage line along with 10 washrooms were renovated and constructed in District Mardan.
WASH Program for households of District Matiari: The program was designed to construct washrooms in households destroyed by the floods in 2010. Main features of these washrooms include a bathing place, a latrine on a household level and communal septic tank for waste disposal.
